Getting StartedThe co-founders of the guild were Mary Redus & Jaymee Varner. At 11am on May 10, 1986, a group of ladies met at Quakertown Quilts (then located at 108 E. Edgewood Ave or what is now called FM 2351 and was owned by Jaymee Varner) in Friendswood, Texas. That was the first meeting of the Gulf Coast Quilt Guild.
